Introducing the MOVE IT 2024 team! We are a small but incredibly passionate team and together, we strive to provide lifelong memories to every person who dances through our doors. We also have some amazing team members joining us along the way so check back for updates.
SOPHIE WALKER, PORTFOLIO DIRECTOR
As the Portfolio Director for MOVE IT, Sophie brings her extensive experience and expertise to the table. Her diverse skill set, honed through years of marketing, editorial, and operational management, enables her to drive the success of MOVE IT and ensure its position as a leading dance event. Sophie’s dedication to both her professional career and her role as a dance mum exemplifies her passion for the industry and her commitment to fostering a vibrant and inclusive dance community.
FAY RAYNER, EVENT DIRECTOR
Fay learnt to dance at a young age doing weekly ballet and tap lessons until she was a teen when she swapped her dancing shoes for singing lessons. Fay is looking forward to her new role as Event Director and is excited to share the magic of what we have in store for the 2024 edition. She might even take a class or two!
JazMIN BUCKLEY, SALES MANAGER
Jazmin has worked on MOVE IT for just over a year – being a professional dancer and choreographer for over 15 years, performing for Kylie Minogue, Rhianna, Nike, and BBC, as well as on the MOVE IT stage several times. She studied dance at The Brit School and Masters Performing Arts. Jazmin has worked in Sales and Event Management within the entertainment industry for the past 7 years, formally running Phoenix Starr College. Jazmin is extremely excited about MOVE IT 2024, and looking forward to the magic that MOVE IT brings.
KELSEY BOYD, MARKETING MANAGER
Kelsey has worked on MOVE IT now for over 5 years – starting as an intern and now Marketing Manager. Kelsey has danced since she was 7 years old and made the move to the Big Smoke from Liverpool 8 years ago. She studied dance at Kingston University and graduated with a First-Class BA Honours Degree. Kelsey is really excited for MOVE IT 2024, and she cannot wait to show you all what her and the team have lined-up!
HARRY BUDDs, SENIOR MARKETING EXEC
Harry has worked on MOVE IT for 3 years, starting as a placement student and now Senior Marketing Executive. Harry started dancing at 3 years old, and then went on to study dance at the University of Surrey. Since then she has also grown to love working in live events and continuing to be part of the dance industry. Harry is thrilled to be working on her 4th MOVE IT and is looking forward to creating an exciting campaign!
TIA HASSAN, CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Tia has an extensive knowledge and experience of dance, theatre, circus, music and the event industries and for the past 16 years she has been successful in producing and programming a number of artistic, cultural and commercial events, productions, tours, and large scale arts projects. Tia engages with work that develops and delivers engaging activity that places participation, collaboration, quality and entertainment at the heart of the delivery.
EMILY JEAN, Production Coordinator
Emily has been working with MOVE IT since 2016 when she started as a Programme Administrator for her university placement, it is this placement that rocketed Emily’s passion for producing and event managing within the dance industry. Dancing since the age of 4 and graduating from the University of East London in 2017 with her degree in Urban Dance Practice, Emily has been involved in the industry for many years and is extremely excited to be working full-time with the MOVE IT team to aid in producing a passion led show that caters to all. MOVE IT 2024, let’s go!
