Applications to take part are opened every September for the upcoming show.

All applications are reviewed and selected by the MOVE IT Creative Team, taking into account the following principles:
– New and exciting ideas that our visitors can experience
– Work that is accessible to our audiences and reflects the current trends in the industry
– High quality expertise and talent

MOVE IT guarantees visitors a programme of excellent quality and a high standard. We support professionals and rising artists who are looking to build their brand and expand their audiences.

Yes! You can apply to take part in all of the available features. The MOVE IT Creative Team programmes each feature independently, ensuring there are no clashes for artists across the show.

The MOVE IT team has been on a journey over the past few years to commit to being able to support teachers in the class programme and help contribute to their fees. Fees are calculated on capacity, and a percentage of the ticket sales go to the teacher and is a contribution towards the cost of participating in the show.
MOVE IT does not pay artists to perform on the main stage or speak in the talks programme at the show.

Yes! We welcome applications from all over the world and have many international artists visit us every year.

No! We accept applications from both organisations and independent artists.

The content in our programme is editorially independent from the commercial side of MOVE IT. Programming decisions do not reflect stand purchases or other partnerships, decisions are based on what the team feel our visitors would enjoy most.

Taking part at MOVE IT will expose you to 270+ industry professionals and over 27,000 visitors from the UK and internationally. The perfect opportunity to expand your network, build your brand and scout for talent.

MOVE IT receives a huge number of applications every year. Due to high demand and competition for involvement in the show, it is not possible for us to accommodate all applicants. We are unable to offer feedback to unsuccessful applicants however encourage you to apply again next year.

The ‘Showcase Theatre’ is a feature of the show that is exclusive to our Dance Education exhibitors, who offer full-time/part-time courses. Designed for them to showcase their work, this is the perfect place for an audience of dancers looking to take the next step in their dance career.
