From promoting sustainable transport options to reducing waste through recycling, we are dedicated to minimising our carbon footprint.

BRING YOUR OWN WATER BOTTLE
To help reduce unnecessary waste, we encourage you to bring a reusable water bottle to the show. You will be able to fill them up at the water fountains stationed around the ExCeL. Don’t worry if you forget, you can grab a MOVE IT water bottle from our MOVE IT shop!
BOOK YOUR GREEN TRAVEL TO MOVE IT
We are proud to be working with The Big Green Coach company. The Big Green Coach is the largest events travel company in the UK, and their aim is to reduce the number of vehicles travelling to events.
USE YOUR E-TICKET INSTEAD OF PRINTING
To reduce wasted paper, we advise you to use your E-ticket rather than a printed version. This can be scanned from a phone or iPad by a member of staff at the queuing hall.

CARBON OFFSET YOUR JOURNEY
Immediate Live, organiser of MOVE IT, is committed to reducing the carbon footprint of all its events.
As part of this process, we’re giving our visitors the chance to make a voluntary donation to Ecologi to carbon offset part of their journey to our events.
Thanks to your generous donations last year, we were able to plant 100 trees in Kenya and 25 in Tanzania.

RECYCLE OLD DANCE CLOTHES
Within the dance industry, there’s a significant amount of materials that go to waste, considering that costumes are frequently worn only once. Following MOVE IT, we kindly urge you to consider donating your used dance costumes and shoes to charities rather than simply discarding them. If you help finding a charity please click here.
