MOVE IT PRO has been shaken up for 2017 and we have dedicated Friday to dance teachers and educators, Saturday to the digital world featuring The Digital Garage from Google and Sunday to inspiring, choreography experiences for dance professionals.
Friday 10th March 2017
For 2017 we are dedicating a whole day of MOVE IT Pro Masterclass and Seminar spaces for the benefit of dance teachers and educators. We have programmed six of the major UK dance companies who are referenced on the GCSE, BTEC and A Level syllabus: Boy Blue Entertainment, Frantic Assembly, James Cousins Dance Company, Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures and Re:Bourne, Rambert Dance Company and Royal Ballet to deliver exclusive teacher training.
Each company will deliver a 75 minute practical masterclass based around the famous repertoire or iconic choreographer named within the formal education syllabus. Led by experts you will learn key motifs and gain inspiration for practical tasks that can be taken back to the classroom.
Your workshop ticket includes automatic entry into the corresponding seminar so you can continue your experience by digging deeper into the themes, background, influences, context and staging of the work in conversation with the company. Each seminar will have different guests and different conversations and will be an excellent and exclusive opportunity to ask those burning questions!
Saturday 11th March
The world of digital takes over the MOVE IT Pro Seminars where we get to the nuts and bolts of increasing your online brand, social media, how to manage your online career, how to develop an audience online and how to build your own app.
