Total Acoustic Precision
TAP’s composed of a selection of fanatical performers who specialise in the origins of american tap dancing. Through their dynamic choreography they pay huge respect to the masters who made and continue to make this art form so popular and exciting to watch. These artists include Gregory Hines, Jason Samuel Smith and the Nicholas Brothers.
The hours of love and dedication spent perfecting their skills have made them strive to bring back to tap, the clean crisp beats which they feel are the most important aspect of any tap dance. In conjunction with their old school roots they aim to explore new concepts such as tapping to classical music, reggae music and even no music at all.
TAP’s credits include performances with winner of “So you think you can dance” Matt Flint and 10th place in the Tap world championships in Germany and Winner of the UK tap championships.
They are thrilled to have been asked to perform at Move it 2012 and really hope everyone will be around to watch and enjoy their exciting interpretation of old school tap dancing, brought to life through these up and coming vibrant performers.
